Connecting your Facebook account to Chatavise allows you to bring in Facebook reviews, manage Messenger messages, and even set up a Messenger bot to automate replies. This guide walks you through the full process step by step.



1. Overview

When you connect your Facebook Business Page to Chatavise, you unlock the ability to:

  • View and respond to Facebook reviews directly inside Chatavise

  • Sync Facebook Messenger conversations with your Chatavise inbox

  • Create automated Messenger responses (bots) for quick customer engagement


2. Requirements Before Connecting

Before starting, make sure you have the following:

  1. A personal Facebook account — this is required to manage your business page.

  2. A Facebook Business Page for your company.

  3. Admin access to the Facebook Business Page you want to connect.

Once these are set up, you’re ready to connect.


3. Step 1: Connect Facebook to Chatavise

  1. In Chatavise, go to Reviews → Manage Sites.

  2. Locate Facebook in the list of available review sites and click Manage.

  3. On the Facebook integration page, click Connect Facebook.

  4. A new window will open. Choose your Facebook account and log in if prompted.

  5. Grant Chatavise the necessary permissions to:

    • Manage and respond to comments and reviews

    • Access and reply to Facebook Messenger messages

  6. ✅ Tip: Select “All current and future pages” to simplify setup if you plan to manage multiple business pages later.

  7. Click Continue to finalize the connection.

Chatavise will now sync your reviews and messages automatically.


4. Step 2: Link Your Business Profile in Chatavise

After connecting your Facebook account:

  1. You’ll see a Pages tab appear under the Facebook integration.

  2. Select the Facebook Page you want to connect.

  3. Choose the corresponding Business Profile in Chatavise.

  4. Click Connect.

Once connected, Chatavise will:

  • Sync all Facebook reviews for that page

  • Import Messenger conversations into your Chatavise inbox


5. Managing Facebook Reviews

After syncing:

  • Go to Reviews in Chatavise.

  • Filter by Facebook to view imported reviews.

  • Click a review to respond directly within Chatavise.

You’ll also see all comments on a review and your business’s responses — Facebook reviews can contain multiple comment threads.

Auto-Reply to Facebook Reviews

Chatavise supports auto-reply for both Facebook and Google reviews.
You can set this up under the Automation tab, where Chatavise automatically responds using your pre-built templates.

6. Managing Facebook Messages

All Facebook messages will appear directly inside your Chatavise Inbox, alongside texts, emails, and WhatsApp conversations.
Your team can view, assign, and reply to Messenger conversations in real time.

This unified inbox helps ensure your team doesn’t miss messages from any channel.


7. Setting Up a Facebook Messenger Bot

To create an automated Messenger bot:

  1. In your Facebook integration page, click Set Up Bot.

  2. Choose which Business Profile it should apply to.

  3. Define your automatic reply options — for example:

    • Greeting message

    • Common questions and answers

    • Custom actions or links

When someone sends a message to your page, the bot will respond automatically and guide them through predefined paths, such as booking, service info, or contact options.

8. Disconnecting or Updating Your Facebook Connection

  • Update Account: Re-authenticate or refresh permissions if something changes.

  • Disconnect Account: Removes all Facebook pages, reviews, and messages from Chatavise.

  • Disconnect Only: Removes the link but keeps existing reviews stored.

You can reconnect anytime by following the same steps as above.
