The Dashboard (Overview Page) in Chatavise gives you a complete view of your review performance — from invites sent to responses posted. This guide walks you through each section, the available filters, and how to interpret the data to track and improve your review generation strategy.
1. Overview and Purpose
The Reviews Dashboard (also called the Overview Page) helps you:
Track review generation performance over time
Measure conversion rates from invites to posted reviews
Monitor response activity and team efficiency
Identify trends across locations, review sites, and ratings
The dashboard combines both review acquisition and review management metrics, giving you a full performance snapshot of your business reputation efforts.
2. Dashboard Filters
At the top of the dashboard, you’ll find several filters to refine your data view:
Locations:
If you manage multiple business locations, use this filter to view metrics per location or across all.Report Groups:
If you have more than two locations, you can group them into categories (e.g., by region or service type).Date Range:
Select a timeframe (e.g., last 30 days, last year) to measure performance over specific periods. You can also compare your current period against a prior period to visualize growth or decline.
Review Sites:
Filter by platform — such as Google, Facebook, Yelp, or BBB — to see which sources drive the most engagement.
Note: If you only have one location, the Location and Report Group filters will not appear.
3. Key Performance Metrics
Each metric on the dashboard represents a critical stage of your review funnel.
Invites Sent
Shows the total number of review invites sent during your selected period — whether sent by your team or automatically by Chatavise workflows.
Invites Clicked
Represents the percentage of recipients who clicked the link in their invite (e.g., 32.5%).
A healthy click rate indicates strong message delivery and customer engagement.
Review Site Clicks
Tracks how many people selected a review platform (Google, Facebook, etc.) after opening the invite.
Reviews Posted
Shows the number of reviews successfully posted.
The small percentage indicator beside it compares current results to the prior period (e.g., +14%).
Attributed Reviews
Displays reviews Chatavise was able to link back to a specific invite — offering insight into the direct impact of your automated review requests.
Chatavise uses intelligent name and time-based matching (within ~24 hours of invite) to estimate attribution even if exact names differ slightly.
Conversion Rate
Calculated as the percentage of invites that resulted in a posted review (e.g., 4%).
Average Star Rating
Shows the average rating of all received reviews and compares it to the previous period.
4. Review Response Metrics
Once reviews are coming in, Chatavise helps you track and automate responses.
Responded Reviews:
See how many reviews your team (or Chatavise) replied to during the selected timeframe.Response Time:
Measure average response time for positive vs. negative reviews.Positive reviews are often answered quickly via auto-reply templates.
Negative ones may take longer as they typically require manual follow-up.
Tip: Enable Auto Response in your Review Suite. Chatavise can automatically reply to positive reviews using a randomized set of templates to maintain authenticity while saving time.
5. Location Rankings
The Location Ranking section compares your business locations by:
Total number of reviews received
Star rating improvement
Growth percentage over the previous period
You can toggle between “Review Count” and “Rating” views to see who’s performing best in volume or quality.
6. Tag and Trend Insights
If you tag reviews (e.g., “Customer Service,” “Pricing,” “Response Time”), those tags appear in this widget.
This allows you to analyze themes and trends in your public feedback, identifying common topics that drive satisfaction or complaints.
7. Review Source Breakdown
The Review Sites section gives a breakdown of reviews collected from each connected platform — e.g., Google, Facebook, Yelp, BBB, etc.
This helps identify where your reputation is strongest and where you might want to focus future review requests.
Most businesses see the majority of their reviews come from Google.
8. Refresh and Reset
Use:
Refresh — to reload data instantly without changing filters
Reset — to clear all filters and return to the default dashboard view
