Review invites are one of the best features Chatavise has to offer. We make sure it's easy to reach out to customers and clients for the important feedback they have. In this article, we're going to take a look at some of the ways you can customize your review invites per location.
The standard way to send out review invites first leads customers to the soundingboard, where they can leave you with feedback on their service without going to Google or Facebook where other potential customers can see.
Clicking the thumbs up will prompt them to be taken to a review site of their choice, typically Google or Facebook, but this can be almost any other review site you'd like to attach as well.
Clicking the thumbs down will take them to a text box asking them to describe what exactly went wrong with their service and send it directly to your team. They will still have the opportunity to click to a review site below the text box, but this text box should intercept most negative reviews.
You have the ability to adjust some of these review invite settings. To change review invite settings, click on the gear icon at the top right of the page.
From the main Settings page, click on the Locations tab under Other in the Setup section to the left.
Here you'll see each individual location in Chatavise. Changes to the review invite layout will need to be done by location; settings don't carry over from one location to the other. Click on the star button under Invites for the location you'd like to set up first.
This will take you to the Review Invite Setup page. You have multiple customization options to choose from on this page. Towards the bottom of the page, you'll see a list of platforms you can add to your review invite.
Just add a link to the platform to the link text box and hit the Add platform button. You can then toggle whether or not the link reroute is active for your review invite.
Above the unused platforms are the platforms currently saved and being used for the review invite. Here you can toggle whether or not a platform is active. You can also control whether or not Google is "boosted", which essentially pushes Google platform to the top priority over other selected platforms as well as the soundingboard.
Contact us gives customers the opportunity to reach out directly to your team as opposed to suggesting a review is left on a different platform. This is beneficial if your team is more interested in direct feedback about service rather than public reviews. Toggling these platforms will change the review invite automatically.
At the top of the page is the soundingboard settings. From here, you can choose if the soundingboard is on or off.
You can also change the soundingboard thumbs to stars instead from this page. Thumbs work on a binary (good or bad) while stars give customers the chance to be more specific with a 1-5 rating.
If a customer leaves a star rating of 4 or 5 stars, they will be prompted to leave a review from your selected platforms. If they leave a star rating of 3 or lower, they will be prompted to text your team about their service, just like with the thumbs down shown previously.
The last setting you can control from this page is whether or not you choose to remain compliant with the Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA). Toggling this compliancy checkbox will remove customer's abilities to be rerouted to Google or other platforms to leave a review even after leaving negative feedback, essentially blocking customers from being able to leave a public review.
Chatavise DOES NOT recommend toggling this off whatsoever, but we allow you the option to do so anyways. Before this option is fully activated, you will need to consent to the pop up warning you that you may face legal repercussions for participating in review gating.
