The Review Invite Setup page allows you to configure the message and links that Chatavise uses to collect customer reviews across different platforms. Once set up, you can automatically send review invites using message variables in workflows, campaigns, or manual texts.
1. Accessing the Review Invite Setup
Navigate to:
Settings → Business Profile → Review Invite Setup
Here you’ll find all available review site integrations, configuration options, and controls for how your review invites appear to recipients.
2. Adding and Configuring Review Sites
Chatavise supports multiple review platforms, including:
Google
Facebook
Better Business Bureau (BBB)
HomeAdvisor
TripAdvisor
Trustpilot
More integrations are being added over time.
To Add or Update a Review Site:
Click Set Up Site or Update Site beside the platform name.
Paste your review link from that platform.
For Google, you can use Chatavise’s built-in business lookup tool:
Type your business name (e.g., “Stanley Steemer Atlanta”).
Select your listing from the results — Chatavise automatically retrieves the correct review link.
Click Save to store the link.
To Find Links Manually:
Google: Use your Google Business Profile → Ask for Reviews → Copy Link.
Facebook: Navigate to your business page’s Reviews tab, copy the URL, and paste it.
Other sites: Open your public review page (e.g., Yelp or Trustpilot) and copy the shortest link that leads directly to leaving a review.
Tip: Always use the URL with the fewest steps between click and review submission — fewer clicks = higher review conversion.
3. Configuring the Sounding Board (Internal Feedback)
The Sounding Board lets you capture private feedback before a customer leaves a public review — helping prevent negative reviews and improving response handling.
Recipients see Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down icons.
Thumbs Up: Sends them directly to your public review sites (Google, Facebook, etc.).
Thumbs Down: Still gives the option to leave a review but also includes a message box to leave private feedback.
You can automate instant notifications:
Alerts to your team when someone leaves negative feedback.
Optional confirmation message to the customer saying your team has been notified.
Goal: Capture unhappy customers internally before they post negative reviews publicly.
4. Managing Review Site Display Options
Within the Review Invite Setup page, you can:
Reorder sites: Click Rotate to change the order in which platforms appear on your invite.
Hide sites: Disable certain platforms from showing on your review invite.
Enable/Disable sites: Toggle visibility for each link using the on/off switches.
These settings help you control which platforms are promoted and maintain a clean, user-friendly review invite layout.
5. Using the Review Invite Variable
Once your setup is complete, you can use the Review Invite Message Variable anywhere in Chatavise messages:
This automatically inserts your configured review invite link into messages, workflows, and campaigns — making it easy to send review requests at the right moment (e.g., after a meeting or completed job).
6. Best Practices
Set up all major review platforms your business uses for credibility and coverage.
Keep your Google link updated if your location or business name changes.
Use the Sounding Board to protect your online reputation by collecting internal feedback first.
Automate invites using workflows (e.g., trigger a review invite after an appointment ends).
Monitor results on the Reviews Dashboard to track invite clicks, review conversions, and star ratings.
