Understanding Campaign Types
When creating a campaign, you’ll choose two key settings:
Purpose: Promotional vs. Transactional
Promotional: For subscribers who have explicitly opted in to receive marketing texts.
Transactional: For general client communication (no marketing allowed). Must not include promotional content unless proper consent exists.
Campaign Type: Traditional vs. Dynamic
Traditional Campaign:
Select specific contacts or tags.
The audience is fixed at the time you schedule the campaign.
Dynamic Campaign:
Create audience filters that update automatically.
The list grows or shrinks based on real-time subscriber changes.
Available in Professional plans and above.

Creating a New Campaign on Web
Navigate to Marketing > Campaigns in your Chatavise web app.
Click Add Campaign.
Select Campaign Purpose (Promotional or Transactional).
Choose Campaign Type (Traditional or Dynamic).

Using traditional campaigns, use filters to select the subscribers you wish to create the campaign for

Schedule the day/time you would like to campaign to run
Test the campaign. Send to yourself and other team members
Acknowledge and run your campaign.
Traditional Campaign Setup
Select Recipients:
Choose contacts directly or filter by tags, businesses, or exclude specific tags.
Write Your Message:
Keep it relevant to reduce opt-outs and increase conversions.
You can use Kelli, Chatavise’s AI assistant, to generate message suggestions.
Track estimated credit usage as you write.
You can send MMS (with emojis or images) or SMS (text only).
Message Credits:
Estimated credit usage is displayed.
Chatavise tracks available free credits and calculates costs for additional credits.
Send or Schedule:
Choose to send immediately or schedule by date and time.
The time zone is based on your local device settings.
Test Your Campaign:
Send test messages to yourself (does not use credits).
Launch Campaign:
Review and confirm consent compliance.
Click Run Campaign to schedule or send.
