If your customers are receiving messages saying that your business is currently closed even though the business is open and active, there are two main reasons why this could be happening.


The first possibility is that your location has been fully set to "closed". To check the open status, head to the Locations page from the Manage tab.



Here you'll see a list of your locations available in Chatavise. The Status toggle will dictate whether or not your location is set to open or closed, which controls the after-hours response.



If you'd like to adjust your open status, click on the toggle and the change will immediately take place. 


The second option is that the operating hour timeframes are incorrect and need to be adjusted. To update your hours, head to the Operating Hours page from the same Locations page. Click on the clock button under Operations for your location of choice. 

You're able to adjust the operating hours as well as set the open status for each day of the week from this page. 



Click on the dropdown menus to select the appropriate operating hours and click the Apply button at the bottom right of the section to save your choices. Toggling a day to Closed will ensure that all customers will receive the after-hours response for this day.
