The Final Visit Completed workflow template in Chatavise automatically sends a review invite when Jobber detects that a customer's final visit has been completed. This is the ideal moment to request a review — the job is done, and the experience is fresh in the customer's mind.
This guide walks you through how to install the Final Visit Completed workflow, customize the review invite message and timing, add an optional follow-up reminder, and turn it on when you're ready.
What the Final Visit Completed Workflow Does
Chatavise knows when a visit in Jobber is the last one before a job closes out. The Final Visit Completed workflow takes advantage of this by automatically triggering a review invite at the perfect moment.
By default, this workflow:
- Listens for the Final Visit Completed event from Jobber
- Sends a text message with a personalized review invite link
- Optionally sends a follow-up reminder if the customer doesn't click the link
How to Install the Workflow
- Navigate to your Jobber integration page in Chatavise.
- Locate the Final Visit Completed workflow template.
- Click Install.
The workflow is now installed but not yet active. This gives you a chance to review and customize it before turning it on.
Reviewing the Workflow Design
- Click on the newly installed workflow to open it.
- Select the Design tab to view the workflow structure.
You'll see the Final Visit Completed event as the trigger, followed by the actions that send your review invite. If you want to learn more about how workflows function, click the Learn How To button inside the workflow editor.
Customizing the Review Invite Message
To edit the review invite content:
- Click the Edit button on the text message action.
- Modify the message text as needed.
The default message includes several message variables that pull data directly from Jobber:
- Customer name — the customer's first name
- Business name — your company name
- Review invite link — the personalized link customers click to leave a review
You can add, remove, or rearrange these variables to match your preferred messaging style. The review invite link is generated by Chatavise and directs customers to your preferred review platform (Google, Facebook, etc.).
Tip: To configure which review platforms appear in your review invite links, go to Setup → Location Profiles → Review Invites.
Adjusting the Send Timing
By default, the review invite is sent immediately after the final visit is completed. This timing tends to produce the best results since the customer's experience is still fresh.
However, if you'd prefer to delay the message:
- Click Edit on the text message action.
- Select the Delay tab.
- Adjust the timing — for example, a few hours or one day later.
- Click Save when you're done.
Adding a Follow-Up Reminder (Optional)
The workflow includes an optional follow-up reminder that sends a second message if the customer doesn't click the review invite link within two days.
This follow-up can help increase your click-through rates by approximately 30%.
To keep the follow-up:
- Leave the second action in place — no changes needed.
To remove the follow-up:
- Click the Remove button on the follow-up action.
- Confirm the removal.
Activating the Workflow
Once you're satisfied with the message content and timing:
- Toggle the workflow On using the switch at the top of the workflow editor.
- The workflow is now live and will trigger automatically whenever a final visit is completed in Jobber.
